About Riverton Pro Plumbing
A Riverton-based plumbing service built around one idea: answer the phone, explain the problem and state the price before work starts.
Who we are
Riverton Pro Plumbing is based at 2600 W 12600 S in Riverton, Utah. We dispatch licensed and insured plumbers to Riverton homes and businesses and to the neighboring towns of South Jordan, Herriman, Bluffdale and Draper.
We are a call-only service. That is a choice. Plumbing problems are hard to describe in a form, and a short conversation tells us far more than a checkbox does.
The work ranges from a dripping faucet to a failed sewer lateral. Emergency calls go to the front of the line, and planned jobs such as water heater installs, repiping and softener setups are booked as same-day or scheduled appointments when available.
How we work
- Diagnose first. We find the cause before recommending a fix, using cameras, pressure gauges, locators and ordinary patience.
- Price before work. You hear a clear price before the job starts, and we stop and call you if the scope changes.
- Honest options. Repair when repair will last. Replace when it will not. We explain the trade-off either way.
- Safety before speed. Gas, sewage and live electrical get handled with caution, and we tell you when to call the utility or 911 first.
What a visit looks like
The plumber starts by listening. You describe what you saw, when it started and what you have already tried. Then comes the inspection: shutoff valves, visible piping, fixtures, and a camera or locator when the cause is hidden.
Before any tool comes out for the repair, you hear the cause and a clear price. If the plumber finds something different once a wall or floor is open, work pauses and you decide with the new information.
When the repair is done, we test it, clean the work area and tell you what to watch for over the next few days, such as a stain that should stay dry or a drain that should stay quiet.
Jobs that belong to someone else
Some problems are not ours to fix, and saying so saves you time. A leak on the city side of the water meter belongs to Riverton City, and the city lists after-hours numbers on its water page. A blockage in the sewer main belongs to Jordan Basin Improvement District.
A gas smell belongs to Enbridge Gas Utah and 911 first, at 1-800-767-1689 from outside the building. Foundation cracks and structural repairs belong to a contractor who does that work. We will tell you plainly when your problem falls into one of these groups.
Have a plumbing problem right now?
Call the 24/7 line. A person answers and helps you stop the damage first.
What we do not claim
You will not find invented review counts, made-up awards or stock-photo crews on this site. We would rather show you how to check a plumber's license yourself than ask you to take our word for it.
Utah's Division of Professional Licensing keeps a public license lookup. Search by name or license number, set the profession to plumber, and confirm the class. Do this for any contractor you hire.
How we decide what to recommend
Our rule is simple: recommend what you would choose if the pipe were in your own house. A worn faucet cartridge gets replaced, not the whole faucet. A tank that is leaking from the shell gets replaced, not patched.
We also say when waiting is safe. A slow drain in one sink can usually wait for a same-day appointment, while sewage in a floor drain cannot. Knowing the difference is most of what a good phone call is for.
Where we work
Riverton is home. City Park, the Riverton Hospital campus on 12600 S, Riverton High School, Bangerter Highway and Mountain View Corridor are all part of our regular routes. See the full list on our service areas page.

About our service
Our address is 2600 W 12600 S in Riverton, and Riverton is where we dispatch from. We serve the four towns that border it.
A conversation lets us ask what you hear, see and smell, and tell you what to shut off right away. A form cannot do that at 2 a.m.
Yes. See commercial plumbing for what we handle and how after-hours calls work.
Use the state's public license lookup from the Division of Professional Licensing. Search by name or license number with the profession set to plumber.
